State Farm Secure Messaging Center Upgrade
State Farm recently upgraded it's Secure Messaging Center.
If you were a previous user, you will still have access to State Farm’s previous Secure Messaging Center. However, encrypted emails you may have received through that system will no longer be available after they expire. You will only be able to read and reply to messages you received through that system until those messages expire.
For users of the previous system, the following things have changed:
- Secure emails that you receive from State Farm will now come through State Farm's new system (in the form of an encrypted PDF) and may require you to register with the new system if you haven't already done so; even if you are a registered user of the old system.
- Your encrypted email will never expire. It will be protected with the password you chose when you registered. Registration for the new secure messaging system will occur upon receipt of your first secure email from State Farm. This will trigger a Registration Notification message with further instructions.
- The address book is now centralized. Popular addresses can be added to the To/CC fields by simply typing the first few characters of the recipient’s name.
